Pay & Display - FAQ's
Recent technological advancements in the parking industry mean that Pay & Display
car parks have become much more dynamic. Through our experience and knowledge of the
parking industry we can offer expert advice to landowners in order to identify and
maximise the potential of all options of profitability on their land.
A few examples of the problems faced by landowners are addressed below:
- Q. I don't wish for people who are purchasing goods from my premises to pay
parking charges as this could be detrimental to business.
- A. Our Pay & Display machines can be set to print a voucher with each ticket. This voucher
may then be redeemed in the premises when making a purchase. This is an extremely
effective way of ensuring that everybody using your car park is either a genuine customer
or is paying for the privilege.
- Q. People using my premises are not necessarily purchasing anything on site but I still don't
want them to pay for parking(i.e hotel guests).
- A. We can supply you with tokens which you can give out at your discretion. These
tokens can then be used in the ticket machines which then print out a ticket giving
the customer a predetermined amount of free parking.
- Q. I want staff / residents to pay a reduced rate / pay monthly.
- A. We can implement a resident / staff card scheme in which each resident would insert their smart
card into the machine which would then either give them access to a cheaper rate or make a log of each ticket
obtained for billing purposes.
